General Glass International, a national distributor of specialty glass and custom glass fabricator, promoted Donna Casaliggi to director of operations of the company’s Avenel, New Jersey, location.
Casaliggi first came to GGI in 1987 working in accounting and data processing, then promoted to MIS Manager. As the second generation in her family to work for GGI, she was enveloped by the family culture environment. Her mother, Lonna Casaliggi, served as the executive assistant to David Balik. Lonna Casaliggi retired in 2017 after serving the company for thirty-four years.
In 2014, Donna Casaliggi was promoted to GGI’s customer service manager. Three years later, she assumed the role of operations manager for the Avenel location. Throughout her career at GGI, Casaliggi has proven to be a vital asset, with deep knowledge of internal programs and systems. Her move to director of operations will perfectly position both her and GGI for further success.
