The Glass Guru added the organization’s newest franchise location in the State of Tennessee. Franchise Owner Brant Lanham completed the company’s initial franchise training. This milestone marks the completion of preparation and education conducted by Lanham in the preceding weeks and months, in preparation for the launch of his new small business.
Lanham initially began looking at franchise ownership because he wanted to “be a leader, and grow a great team.” He already had franchise experience, with his current family ownership of a Totally Nutz franchise location. Additionally, unlike many of The Glass Guru’s current franchise owners, Lanham came with industry experience, having worked as a home improvement salesperson for one of the larger replacement window brands in the U.S. The alignment with The Glass Guru brand was apparent to him, because, while his industry experience will prove valuable, the company looks for business leadership as a more important asset than prior trade experience.
“From speaking with Dan [The Glass Guru Founder and CEO] initially, The Glass Guru looks for owners who are focused on building the business and the team,” says Lanham. “That’s what I am good at and enjoy the most.”
Lanham has been working hard to ramp up his business in what’s been a very challenging few weeks. While the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic has significantly limited most small businesses, as a designated essential industry, The Glass Guru remains open for business. He has been serving the residents of Hendersonville and surrounding areas with The Glass Guru’s array of essential glass repair and restoration services, and he’ll likely benefit from a significant amount of pent-up demand for home services, once this crisis is over.
Lanham’s franchise location, The Glass Guru of Hendersonville, Tennessee, is the company’s fifth franchise location in the state of Tennessee. After several years of focused recruiting in several business and trade-friendly states, The Glass Guru is seeing this strategy paying great dividends.
“We’re really excited to have Brant onboard as the company’s newest franchise owner,” says Dan Frey, founder and CEO, The Glass Guru Franchise Systems Inc. “His energy, drive and prior experience prepare him greatly for what’s to come. We’re looking forward to big things happening in Hendersonville, Tennessee.”
