Kalwall Corp. is proud to awarded Mark Lipman with the salesperson of the year award for 2021.
This is Lipman’s first time being recognized as top sales producer for the industry leader in diffuse natural daylighting solutions.
“These awards mean a lot more this year than they have historically,” says Kevin Bruce, national sales manager North America for Kalwall. “Not a single one of our salespeople has let the pandemic slow them down. They’ve innovated, adapted and persisted through this year and last.”
As sales representative for the New York City metro region, Lipman has been involved in numerous high-profile projects, most recently including renovations for the Metropolitan Transit Authority Hicksville station, multiple MTA Bus Depots, the Northeast Bronx YMCA, the Horace Mann School and 160 Van Brunt Street—the first standalone Tesla Dealership in New York. He brings huge value to his customers with his knowledge and engagement on projects from estimating to design to installation, say company officials.
“I’ve seen Mark interact with his customers, and they really respond to him. They see him as a partner, they like him as an individual and they welcome him as an adviser to their team. He’s part of the project team, always, at every level,” Bruce says.
“I’m incredibly excited and humbled by this achievement,” says Lipman. “I’ve been with Kalwall eight years, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity I was given. I can certainly say that I enjoy the challenge every day while I’m working alongside everyone at Kalwall. I was really amazed when I first interviewed with this company and noticed so many people working here for 20, 25, 30-plus years. But I’ve learned there’s a successful formula that makes people want to stay that long. I’m happy to be a small part of that success today.”
