MY Shower Door / D3 Glass Named Among Florida’s Top Manufacturing Performers

MY Shower Door / D3 Glass has been named a finalist in the 2022 Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Awards. As part of a statewide select group of professionals, the award serves to recognize high performing Florida manufacturers, offer company learning and development opportunities, and gain greater exposure for the Florida manufacturing sector. MY Shower Door / D3 Glass is the only Florida Glass company represented in this prestigious group.

“We are honored to be named among Florida’s high-performance manufacturers,” says Bill Daubmann, president and founder of the Fort Myers-based company. “Having been in the business for more than 30 years, manufacturing and installing over 100,000 frameless shower doors, very few companies in the U.S. have completed as many jobs and have such high Google ratings. We are proud to be recognized as high-performing manufacturers that help to elevate Florida’s manufacturing community.”

All manufacturers with production facilities in Florida are eligible to participate in the SMBE Awards. More than 160 nominations were received. FloridaMakes, in partnership with The Sterling Council, is leading the Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Award process.

Nominations are followed by a virtual meeting with a team of examiners to review high performance evaluation criteria. The Examiner team then conducts an in-person evaluation of company systems and practices. The week of April 18, examiners and judges will meet to determine the award winners. Finalists will be announced April 25, and be recognized, in-person, at the Manufacturing Excellence Reception on June 3, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando.
