The online interactive event kicked off this morning to a record pre-registration count of nearly 500. NGA’s President & CEO Nicole Harris opened the event with a State of the Association address, reflecting on NGA’s response to COVID-19 to help its 1,700 member companies, the glass industry’s “essentialness” in the face of the pandemic and Black Lives Matter protests, and how NGA is pivoting to continue to deliver on its purpose and vision. The NGA Glass Conference will continue through Thursday, July 30, with 14 education sessions—many accredited for AIA Learning Units for architect stakeholders—and a report from NGA’s Advocacy Committee.
