NGA Glass Conference: Tacoma Kicks Off with an Eye toward Future Market Trends
Glass and glazing industry technical leaders convene this week for the National Glass Association’s NGA Glass Conference: Tacoma, taking place July 25-27. Highlighting the packed three-day agenda is a keynote session on Glass & Glazing for the Future from Steve Selkowitz, recently retired as Senior Advisor for Building Science, LBNL and is now a consultant and advisor to global building industry clients.
Selkowitz will present his thoughts on glass and glazing for the future. “Selkowitz is a champion for glass. His visionary thinking, backed by tested data, shows how windows can serve the well-being of building occupants while contributing to building energy conservation,” say NGA officials.
Additionally, the conference will feature meetings of NGA’s Forming, Fabricating and Advocacy Committees, and include the latest technical and codes highlights, and discussion of the evolution of school security products and methods. Attendees will also tour Technical Glass Products’ facility, visit the Seattle Space Needle, and enjoy a reception at the Tacoma Glass Museum.
