Hartung Glass Industries hired Paul Mahedy as chief operating officer. A 35-year veteran of the glass industry, Mahedy’s commitment and contributions to glass fabrication are well-known having held several high-level roles including industrial engineer, general manager and COO with some of the largest fabricators in North America.

Our customers will see the positive impact from Paul’s leadership immediately.”
Mahedy joins Hartung following several years serving a range of leadership positions in the glass industry, most recently as COO of Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions. In this role, he led sales and operations for Trulite’s nationwide network of glass fabrication locations. Prior to Trulite, Mahedy held a variety of positions at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope including industrial engineer and general manager.
Mahedy is primarily based at Hartung’s corporate offices in Tukwila, Washington, but will travel regularly to assist all Hartung locations. “Paul will support all Hartung facilities in achieving operational excellence, developing talent, and aligning resources with our goal of providing outstanding service and quality to our customers,” says Sciola. “Paul has a passion for continuous improvement and people development and will encourage the sharing of best practices across Hartung. He will also design a training and leadership development program for our company.”
