Mateusz Morawiecki, the deputy prime minister and finance minister for Poland, commented on the new Guardian Glass float glass plant to be built in Częstochowa, Poland, slated to open in 2019. The factory will be built next to the company’s existing factory in the area. During his visit to the United States, Morawiecki shared that the second float plant will bring several hundred new jobs, and represents an investment of $235 million.
“This will be a highly automated factory, which will earmark a large part of its production for export,” says Morawiecki. “It will manufacture glass employing environment-friendly methods.”
