What people are saying
“As part of our U.S. expansion plans, we are thrilled to continue to grow the PurOptima brand further into the Midwest. We are excited to demonstrate to designers, architects, contractors and building owners how specifying our glass wall systems will deliver maximum ROI, on several levels, from striking aesthetic design to market-leading acoustic performance and carbon savings. Following the launches in major hubs across the country offers the ideal next step on our expansion plans, allowing us to develop what we have learned and tailor this to meet the design needs in a new region,” says PurOptima Commercial Director Kevin Mayer.
“As a leader in providing bespoke workplace solutions in the Midwest, these new partners were the obvious choice to work with Clover Architectural Products and expand into Wisconsin; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Cleveland, Ohio. Committed to delivering clients with innovative, high-performance solutions with exceptional service, their values align perfectly with ours. We also both share a real dedication to enhancing the built environment through the development of the most sustainable products and ingraining circular principles into the way we work.”
"We are thrilled to work with these new partners to differentiate our products and expand our coverage in the Midwest. We continue to provide innovative and high-quality glass solutions with PurOptima that go deeper into the building product spec and offer a positive impact on our brands, our customers and the environment," says Tom O’Malley, partner, Clover Architectural Products.
More expansion
PurOptima’s continued expansion into the U.S. market comes after an announcement that PurOptima has switched its aluminum supply to Hydro CIRCAL across the entire company. Hydro CIRCAL is a new brand of sustainable aluminum, made with a minimum of 75% recycled post-consumer scrap, which minimizes the carbon footprint of the products in which it’s used. Recycling aluminum requires just 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum, drastically reducing the amount of energy required. This benefit is then passed onto PurOptima’s glass partitions and doors, reducing its embodied carbon.
“Currently U.S.-produced aluminum has an embodied carbon of 16 kilograms of carbon dioxide, compared with a European average of 8.6 kilograms of carbon dioxide. Contrastingly Hydro CIRCAL aluminum exclusively available in the U.S. in PurOptima’s glass wall partitioning systems has an embodied carbon of 1.9 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent per kilogram aluminum, down from the previous 2.3 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent per kilogram, which is a massive benefit for clients. We have already been able to make significant carbon reductions for clients looking to reduce their carbon footprint,” says Kevin Mayer.
