Quanex Building Products recently announced the addition of a 60,000-square-foot screens facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The site features enough capacity to operate up to 15 window and patio door screen lines, along with full shipping, receiving and warehousing capabilities, according to the company. Quanex also expanded its relationship with ISC Group, a sales agency serving the fenestration industry that will focus on selling its screens products and services.
“Our screens facilities are strategically located across the country to provide our customers with personalized, local service and delivery that is streamlined into their processes,” says Larry Johnson, vice president of sales for Quanex’s North American Fenestration division. “Opening a facility in Allentown enabled us to bring this level of service to a whole new group of customers. We’re looking forward to working with ISC in the region to continue to grow our screens sales.”
Quanex already has a relationship with ISC in the Southeast, and this new agreement expands coverage and sales of its screens products to include Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and Vermont. With four dedicated sales reps in the region, ISC will focus primarily on Quanex’s screens outsourcing solutions for window and door manufacturers.
