Salem Fabrication Technologies has made two promotions; promoting Kent Kasem to the position of Western regional sales director and promoting Micah Clodgo to the position of Eastern regional sales director. The company has also added Ben Abney as Mid-Atlantic regional account manager.
About Abney
Over the past five years, Abney has been working for Salem's inside sales and service department, elevating its service and support standards for customers across the U.S. and Canada.
Now, entering the realm of field sales, Abney will leverage his wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to cater to existing customers' tooling, supplies, material handling and machinery needs while expanding Salem's footprint across the Mid-Atlantic region, spanning from Maryland to South Carolina.
Abney's 13-year industry journey has been centered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His expertise ranges from precision cutting and edging and installing glass to collaborative work with both U.S. and international vendors.
About Clodgo
Starting with Salem back in 2006, Clodgo started in the warehouse, filling pick-tickets and packing customer orders. Climbing the ranks, he transitioned to inside sales, managing international accounts. The role of regional account manager followed. Now, after 18 years, Clodgo steps into the position of Eastern regional sales director, leading a team focused on empathy, positive interactions and trusted consultancy. His territory covers the entire east coast to Mississippi, Tennessee and north through Eastern Canada.

His deep understanding of the glass industry makes him a valuable asset to the Salem organization. Kasem’s hands-on approach as regional account manager has already yielded impressive results, instilling confidence in his ability to drive further growth and success in the Western region. He will cover the entire West Coast, Midwest and Canada.
