Sentech Architectural Systems unveiled two new structural glass products: the VetraSky and VetraSpan-L Systems.
About VetraSky
VetraSky provides increased transparency by eliminating all visible framing members and derives its strength from curvature rather than an in-plane aluminum support system.
VetraSky’s frameless jumbo clear-span solutions have never been available to the market before. It can span up to 26 feet with single, curved glass panels and has no support structure. The elimination of all visible support structure and opaque zones results in sweeping, clean views of the sky with zero interruptions. This skylight system can be used in areas of high environmental loads and uses the glass curvature to develop its strength. For extreme snow loads, curved glass fins can be added to provide additional strength.
About VetraSpan-L
The VetraSpan-L is an ultra-transparent, structural glass façade system that seeks to eliminate all vertical glass joints and increase the horizontal span of transparency and openness. Using proven manufacturing and design technology, this system elevates design aesthetics by eliminating all visible glass supports and vertical joints. The system can be used to design wall segments up to 12 feet tall and 50 feet long.
