North Canton, Ohio-based United Architectural Metals, a designer, manufacturer and fabricator of unitized curtain wall systems, appointed Robert T. Cummings to the newly formed position of chief operating officer.

Cummings has an extensive and successful past―more than 38 years in the glass and glazing industry and previously held executive positions at Standard Bent Glass Corp., United Glass Corp., Hartung Glass Industries, and CGH Inc.
