YKK AP America Inc. announced the appointment of industry veteran Ken Martinek as architectural sales representative for the Los Angeles Sales Branch. Martinek will serve the states of Arizona and New Mexico, where he will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships with commercial architects and glazing contractors.
Matinek's experience
Martinek comes to YKK AP with 24 years of industry experience, and with a proven track record of expertise in sales operations. Martinek has been recognized for his leadership in guiding teams to exceed sales goals through a combination of innovative sales and marketing strategies, strategic partnerships and strong account management and problem-solving skills.
Martinek is a member of the Phoenix chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and the Arizona chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects. He is also actively involved with the American Institute of Architects Arizona. In 2019, he was awarded the Chairman’s Award, an individual honor bestowed by the chair of the AIA Arizona Fellows.
