Showcasing 145,000 square feet of unitized aluminum curtainwall system, Two Clinton Park in New Rochelle, New York, USA, features clean, modern lines – and has the distinction of being the first building in North America to be built with carbon-neutral sealants.

To help address the need for sustainable building techniques – without sacrificing performance or productivity – Dow introduced the world’s first global Carbon-Neutral Silicones for Building Façades program in 2021. The program features verified carbon-neutral DOWSIL™ Brand Silicones to help reduce embodied carbon in high-performance building façades.

The Two Clinton Park project is especially notable because all portions of the façade were constructed using carbon-neutral silicones from Dow:

  • DOWSIL™ 982 Silicone Insulating Glass Sealant (secondary sealant)
  • DOWSIL™ 983 Structural Glazing Sealant (structural sealant)
  • DOWSIL™ 795 Silicone Building Sealant (weather sealant)
