CRL's Blumcraft Security Latch features a distinct flat back that provides stronger engagement with the overhead door strike to keep glass doors resilient against exterior pull force when locked. This prevents the door from being forced open by pulling the exterior handle.
The Blumcraft Security Latch will come standard with all Blumcraft panic handles. To assist glaziers with proper installation, the Security Latch has a painted blue portion that indicates sufficient engagement with the door strike.
