Laminated mirror
Stratobel Mirox by AGC is a laminated safety mirror that combines the functional and optical features of a standard mirror with the additional safety features of laminated glass, enabling mirrored wall cladding, partition walls and other interior applications that require a higher level of safety.
This new laminated mirror from AGC Glass Europe is available in two versions (Stratobel Mirox Mono and Stratobel Mirox Duo) to suit different applications. Stratobel Mirox Mono consists of one sheet of mirror laminated with one sheet of float glass and can be used, for example, in wall cladding to visually enlarge rooms while playing with light and reflections. Stratobel Mirox Duo comprises two sheets of laminated mirror and can be used in various applications, including room-structuring partition walls that reflect on both sides.
Both versions are laminated with one or two PVB interlayers. The silver layer is protected by a special paint that is compatible with and adheres to the PVB, delivering durable safety performance. In 33.1 or 44.1 configurations, with a single PVB, the laminated safety mirror is rated safety class 2B2 in accordance with EN 12600, while the version with two PVB interlayers is rated class 1B1 and class P2A in accordance with EN 356.
Stratobel Mirox helps preserve indoor air quality, since it emits very low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and formaldehyde. The product is available in two standard configurations (33.1, 33.2).

Decorative laminated glass
Bendheim’s new HexaLite is a honeycomb-reinforced glass. The laminated safety cladding material is ideal for elevator interiors, lobbies, and designs requiring large glass panels and long spans. HexaLite’s aluminum honeycomb backing lends strength and rigidity to any glass thickness, while minimizing the overall weight of the panel. It can add as much as 1/2 inch to the thickness of the panel, with just 1 pound per square foot additional weight.
