CMS, a manufacturer of glass technology, acquired GFP, a Venice-based company specialized in cutting tables and seaming machines for glass fabricating.
The acquisition allows CMS Glass Technology to reinforce its global presence in the sector of machines and technological solutions for glass processing, say officials.
“The operation will give to CMS Glass Technology the opportunity to expand the range of products and services in a strategic way, guaranteeing our customers more technological solutions to win the most demanding challenges of efficiency and quality,” says Giovanni Negri, CEO of CMS, and Dorian Campagnola, director of CMS Glass Technology division.
Claudio Pietrobelli and Dario Zenere, shareholders of GFP, will maintain their strategic roles in GFP in sales, design, manufacturing and service. They will be supported by Dorian Campagnola to ensure the correct alignment with CMS Glass Technology.
“This strategical operation makes us look to the future with a lot of optimism, allowing GFP to benefit of all the advantages of being part of an international group without giving up our DNA,” says Claudio Pietrobelli and Dario Zenere.
