Cristacurva Sells Assets of Houston Plant to Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope
Cristacurva agreed to sell the assets of its Houston plant to Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, part of CRH, and the agreement has been finalized. This facility provides a full range of architectural glass and related products in the Southwest market.
With this strategic decision, Cristacurva will concentrate all efforts and focus towards its core business, the fabrication of highly complex specialty glass products with very stringent quality requirements, always striving for the highest levels of service and customer satisfaction.
“This is one of the best plants in the USA, and as a leader in the building products sector, OBE is the right successor to continue Glass Wholesalers’ (Cristacurva´s Houston plant) legacy and tradition of providing best-in-class products and services throughout Houston and the broader Texas market,” says Francisco Sanchez-Gil, Cristacurva CEO. “Cristacurva will continue to offer customers throughout North America quality and complex value-added glass products. With this transaction both companies advance in the achievement of their respective missions.”
“We hugely recognize and appreciate the enormous effort and professionalism of all employees at the Houston plant, through all these years,” says Sanchez-Gil.
