Hegla and Glaston Corp. have decided to end the cooperation agreement between Hegla and Glaston company Bystronic Glass due to changes in the companies’ competitive positions. The agreement, which was entered into in 2012 by Bystronic Lenhardt GmbH, Conzzeta AG, Hegla GmbH & Co. KG, and Lewag Holding AG, will terminate at the end of 2019.
The purpose of the cooperation agreement was to operate as preferred partners, meaning the companies cooperated in cross-selling products for the architectural market and made use of each other’s sales and service networks. The cooperation has had limited commercial value.
The companies decided to end the partnership by mutual agreement.
