IGE Glass Technologies and Schirmer Maschinen Announce Cooperation for U.S. Market

Officials from IGE Glass Technologies announced the company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Schirmer Maschinen.

Schirmer, part of the Beckhoff Automation Group, has more than 40 years of providing automated profile processing centers. Schirmer is focused on offering solutions to complex customer requirements for cutting, machining, and handling for window and door construction, facade manufacturers, construction suppliers, and furniture manufacturers. Solutions are available for a variety of materials such as PVC, aluminum, steel, and composites.

IGE will distribute the Schirmer product line, as well as provide installation, technical service, and spare parts for the U.S.
