Masonite entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of all assets associated with its architectural business segment to subsidiaries of IBP Solutions Inc., a newly formed portfolio company of Industrial Opportunity Partners. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions.
For Masonite residential customers, this potential divestiture has no negative impact. The proceeds from this sale will provide Masonite with additional capital to invest in executing its strategy, which includes the development of innovative and differentiated door systems to meet homeowner needs.
