The Novatech Group, a Toronto-based door manufacturer, acquired glass product manufacturer Laurier, based near Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Company officials say they hope the acquisition will result in a growth plan that will unite the strengths of both companies in the high-rise, commercial and glass markets.
“Laurier's expertise, knowledge, ability and reputation are some of the elements that will complement our plants in [Quebec, Canada locations of] Anjou, St.-Agapit and St.-Apollinaire, and will distinguish ourselves in the glass industry,” says Harold Savard, president and CEO of the Novatech Group.
