Saint-Gobain Acquires Netherlands-based Construction Materials Manufacturer

Saint-Gobain acquired Strikolith in the Netherlands, a company specialized in the production of external insulation systems, interior finishings and renovation products and solutions.

In 2019, Strikolith achieved sales of close to $23.7 million. It employs about 50 people at one production site in the Netherlands. The complementarity of Strikolith with Saint-Gobain’s existing businesses enhances the Group’s solution offering, say officials. The acquisition allows Saint-Gobain to strengthen its offering in external thermal insulation composite systems and in construction chemicals in the Netherlands, say officials, reinforcing Saint-Gobain’s position in energy-efficient renovation in Europe.
