FARO's new Sphere Viewer is a solution that combines 360° photo and point cloud data into a single, cloud-based location inside the FARO Sphere platform. With Sphere Viewer, accessible with a FARO Sphere and HoloBuilder account, users can visualize and share captured data in one place. Virtual collaboration and remote construction project management removes work siloes, reduces errors and project delays, and is designed to make it easy to make quick decisions backed by secure, synchronized data.

4D Construction Progress Management Solution

FARO's 4D Construction Progress Management Solution, available on FARO’s Sphere SaaS platform, provides a central location for users to capture, view, share and analyze reality capture data. It allows construction and operation professionals to benefit from faster site updates, easier virtual collaboration and more reliable progress insights. The central component to the Solution is the Sphere Viewer, which leverages a combination of computer vision, photogrammetry and artificial intelligence to create a comprehensive virtual jobsite. The solution also includes: VideoMode, which uses 360° videos to enable faster and easier site documentation, ProgressAI, which uses artificial intelligence to detect and report site progress, as well as a brand-new Robotics API. The 4D Construction Progress Management Solution is expected to be released later this year.

EDTM Inc. The Glass-Chek Elite identifies laminated glass in a window and measures the thickness of the laminate inner-layer. The graphical display illustrates the window’s profile. The instrument also detects the presence and location of low-emissivity coatings, and can tell if the coating is a hard or soft coat, as well as the number of silver layers used to make the coating.
