The Aluminum Extruders Council will host a webinar panel, Achieving Higher Performance Facades, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. ET.
“It’s easy to say we want high-performance facades for our commercial, hospitality and institutional projects … but often a challenge to bring this to fruition, balancing the considerations of energy efficiency, occupant well-being, budget,” according to AEC officials.
The panel will feature a range of players from the design and construction industry, discussing façade trends and the role that each of their specialties – glass, aluminum, thermal management, design, installation – will play achieving high-performance solutions.
Panelists include: Thomas D. Culp, president, Birch Point Consulting, and code consultant for the NGA and AEC; Barb Johnson, regional sales manager, Hydro Extruded Solutions; Bill Blazek, market team manager, Technoform North America; Stacey Hooper, principal, NBBJ Design; Matt Kamper, contract sales and estimating, Woodbridge Glass Inc., and chair of the NGA Installing Committee; and Darijo Babic, director of architectural sales, Guardian Glass.
