Innergy AP
Deceuninck North America launched a line of architectural products, Innergy AP. Made from a fiber-reinforced polymer, Innergy AP parts are custom-designed to fit existing commercial fenestration products and include pressure plates, structural thermal struts, reinforcements, and curtain wall components. The product line builds from Deceuninck’s Innergy Rigid Thermal Reinforcements already used in window and door frame chambers for enhanced energy efficiency.

Thermal isolator clip
Technoform introduced its thermal isolator clip for buildings with continuous insulation systems. Engineered for use in exterior wall cladding and façade systems, the thermal isolator clip is suited for both renovation and new construction applications. Ensuring the dew point of the wall system stays outside of the air-water barrier, Technoform’s thermal isolator clip provides a thermally efficient mounting support for cladding applications to maintain the continuous insulation requirements for the wall.

Warm-edge spacer
Technoform added a high-profile, plastic hybrid stainless steel warm-edge spacer to its Spacer M family of durable high-performance insulating glass edge seal solutions. The product is composed of high-performance engineered polymer with a thin, low-conductivity stainless steel backing to minimize heat transfer, and to maximize protection against gas leakage and moisture penetration. At 8 millimeters high with the reinforcing wire, the Spacer M high provides improved processability, particularly for the largest insulating glass units, say officials.

IG spacer
Swisspacer, in collaboration with Veka, developed a new set of applications for the Swisspacer Air. The use of the window component can lead to very large spaces between the panes of glass, without the risk of damage caused by climatic stresses; this results in a large number of new possibilities for system configurations, including sound insulation, heat insulation and sun protection. The component makes the use of thinner glass possible, which leads to a lower weight.

SWISSPACER Air - Component for pressure equalization in insulating glass
ADVERTISEMENT If glasses are installed at a different height than produced, no pressure compensation takes place and it can lead to significant deformations – up to glass breakage. The risk of such damage can be minimized if a continuous pressure equalization takes place between the outside climate and the space between the panes. SWISSPACER Air makes this equalization possible and therefore provides the answer to a fundamental problem in the industry.
