The arrangement allows power to be transferred across two or more individual layers within the laminate and tapped/extracted at the required locations to power multiple low-power devices, which use 50 volts or less. Potential applications include LED-lit display cases and shelving units for museums, art galleries and high-end retail stores, say officials.
