Coating machine
The FuseCube Express is an automated coating machine that applies Diamon-Fusion onto both sides of the glass. The coating is applied through a proprietary chemical vapor deposition, or CVD, process, transforming ordinary glass into a high-performing, water-repellent surface. Unique to its class, the FuseCube Express can treat one to five lites in under 10 minutes, with a minimal footprint—5 by 6 feet—that can meet the demands of small and larger-sized fabricators. The machine also includes a touchscreen monitor, built-in evacuation system, multi-run cartridge system, real-time monitoring and backup systems, making it simple, reliable and easy to use. Booth #1231.

Cullet handling
Cullet handling systems by Custom Conveyor can improve cutting table throughput, reduce operator fatigue and minimize injury risk in the customer’s facility. These systems are tailored to work directly with customers’ existing processing equipment. The breakers receive scrap glass from manual breakout tables or automated axis breakers and convert it into cullet, which is easily transportable by Custom Conveyor’s bulk conveying systems. Cullet handling systems may be used with existing production lines or designed for incorporation into new lines. Booth #2947.

Fabricating equipment
Casso-Solar Technologies has worked together with Kuraray to develop a system to trim excess SentryGlas after lamination is completed. This equipment eliminates the need to use hot knives to clean up assemblies by using an infrared heater to heat the excess interlayer along an entire edge and allowing it to be trimmed with a standard razor blade. For ¼- over ¼-inch assemblies, this process takes about 20 to 30 seconds per edge, reducing the time it takes to produce a quality finished product. Booth #2723.
