Glass lifter

The OMNI 1800 glazes at elevated heights using a telehandler or off-road forklift. It can be used inside and outside a building envelope to allow for glazing of glass and windows weighing up to 1,800 pounds. It has a fully integrated and independent power supply to drive electric actuators and vacuum pumps. It is operated with a convenient wireless remote, which controls six degrees of precise movement for better managing precision glazing.

Boom lift platform

The Genie 13-foot platform for boom lifts aims to boost productivity on jobsites, increases operator comfort, and increases the versatility of equipment owner's Genie boom lift fleets by adding more than 60% additional space in the platform for work at height. The 13-foot platform is now available for use on three Genie boom lifts in North America and the EMEAI region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India).

Compatible with Genie S-45 XC, S-65 XC and S-85 XC boom lifts, the 13-foot platform is especially well suited for tasks that involve an extensive working area, as well as jobsites with limited space to maneuver on the ground. In addition to increasing operator comfort, the extra space in the platform also allows workers to do more, faster, by providing access to twice as much work area with the same number of boom movements compared with a standard sized 8-foot platform.

Robotic line

A new Lattuada-Knittel robotic solution offers one polisher and one robot on a track. This specific line is dedicated to customers that would like to increase the automation level of their edging department. A new feature is a device to control the correct position of the edge of the glass. The customer can load the glasses on the rack even without using a reference/zero point, just roughly in the middle of the rack. So when turning it 90° the bottom edge can be a little bit higher/lower compared to the standard zero line. This is the task of this new device, to check, before loading the glass, the real position of the edge to have a safe and smooth loading. The robot handling the glasses is not fixed on the floor but running at very high speeds on a dedicated track. The construction of the rack enable the robot to reach a maximum speed of 2.35 m/s. The line can be operated just by an operator who only has to load a rack and start the line, all glasses will be automatically grinded on four sides and unloaded on another rack or sent into a washer. The line can communicate with the operator through a pager.
